Ninja Penguin | 2D Animation

This project involved designing a simple character, including a model sheet, and creating two animations: a continuous spin and a final scene where the character enters, performs an action, and exits. I designed a ninja penguin using solid colours and basic shapes, making him easily recognisable and appealing to a younger audience. Instead of a standard walk-on, he makes a dramatic entrance and exit, pulling out a katana to slice a fish; adding humour and personality. By focusing on simplicity, recognisability, and expressive movement, the design solves the challenge of creating a character that is engaging, memorable, and clearly communicates personality through action.
