Fruity Friends | Packaging Design

“Fruity Friends” is a conceptual packaging design created for an open brief. I have designed a mystery box featuring fruit-themed animal plushies. There are seven to collect: Pear Cat, Banana Monkey, Strawberry Penguin, Dragonfruit Owl, Kiwi Moose, Blueberry Panda, and the ultra-rare Pineapple Lemur. I created both the packaging and the underlying product concept, as the mystery-box packaging incorporates illustrative representations of the intended plush toys. I aimed to create a fun, playful, and imaginative design targeted toward pre-teen girls. My goal was to design packaging that kids (and even adults!) would be excited to discover in stores; something bursting with life, colour, and personality. This design is heavily illustrative, reflecting my enjoyment of playful, hands-on projects. It also provided an opportunity to showcase my skills in illustration and creative packaging design.
