Graphic Designer | Illustrator | Visual Artist

Hi, I’m Emily Evans, founder of Emvious Design! Explore my graphic design and visual art portfolios via the site’s navigation bar, and get in touch for freelance work or inquiries.

I am a graphic designer and visual artist holding a Diploma of Graphic Design from Chisholm Institute and a Diploma of Visual Arts from RMIT University. I specialise in creative and illustrative design, working across a wide range of projects including logo design, packaging, layout, and illustration-driven work. I have a particular passion for maximalist design; creating rich, detailed, and visually engaging visuals that capture attention and tell a story. I am highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, with some experience in video editing and 2D animation, and introductory knowledge of After Effects for basic motion graphics work.

In addition to my digital practice, I am an experienced traditional visual artist, working across oil and acrylic painting, coloured pencil and alcohol marker drawings, and realistic grey-lead sketches. I accept commissions for custom artworks, including self-portraits and pet portraits. My artistic style balances realism with creativity; I aim to go beyond simple photo replication by subtly exaggerating colours, textures, and features.
Outside of my artistic practice, I have a deep love for nature and animals, often drawing inspiration from them in my projects when it fits the brief. I enjoy video games, quiet time alone, and finding joy in simple, everyday moments. As an introvert, I value reflection and observation, and I find inspiration in the work of other designers. I am passionate about growing as a graphic designer and visual artist, continually learning and refining my craft to create work that is meaningful.
