Yellow Gerberas | Oil Painting

"Yellow Gerberas" explores complementary colours. The yellow flowers are set against a rich purple background to create visual contrast and make the subject stand out. The work remains largely realistic, with slight exaggeration in shading around the flowers to enhance depth and vibrancy. Created as part of my Diploma of Visual Arts, this piece reflects experimentation with colour, contrast, and expressive technique.
